Born on the 20th November 1989, a rising star was given the lovely Cody Martin Linley as his birth name.
Cody Linley was born in America, and started acting on screen at a young age of 9,
in the made-for-TV movie - Still Holding On: The Legend of Cadillac Jack.
From then, he took on more roles in the filming industry.
In the year 2000, he even got to star in four different movies, all in one year!
These movies would be - My Dog Skip, Where the Heart Is, Walker, Texas Ranger, and Miss Congeniality!
Following the launch of the movies he appeared in with smaller roles, Cody grew to receive even
greater roles, where he got to act in a major role.
Accepting these jobs that came to him, the audience out there began to see him more,
in movies like the independent film When Zachary Beaver Came to Town as well as
the movie Cheaper by the Dozen (with many other popular stars like Steve Martin, Hilary Duff and Alyson Stoner)
Also, in the Disney Channel show That's So Raven, Cody also made a mini cameo in the episode Five Fingers Discount.
Then, in 2007, Cody Linley was best known for his guest starring in Disney Channel original hit tv series Hannah Montana,
starring Miley Cyrus. He was appearing as an obnoxious popular star studying in their school
and his role was named Jake Ryan.
At that time, he became more popular with the teens around the world due to his appearance in a new show,
plus many people probably had a very good impression of him from his previous roles too!
Most lately, Cody was said to be dating Demi Lovato,
but they broke up since Lovato was in tour with the Jonas Brothers.
He said that he missed her a lot. Rumors say that Lovato's song "Get Back" is about him.
At this point of time, he is not only an actor and performer.
If you have noticed, you might see that
he has uploaded a music clip of himself singing Wonderwall on his Myspace.
Plus, Cody Linley joined hands
with dancer Julianne Hough as partner,
to take part in Season 7 of reality tv show Dancing With The Stars (DWTS).
Linley is currently undertaking some work right now.
As of June 2008, he is filming Forget Me Not, a thriller in which he plays Eli Channing.
Linley's co-stars include Hannah Montana veteran Brie Gabrielle and Disney alum Carly Schroeder (Melina from Lizzie McGuire).
